English Rhino is a self-study practice platform for English language exams (TOEFL, IELTS, and others). Practice questions are provided for personal, non-commercial study use.
Question banks described at checkout as permanent access remain attached to the purchasing account while the service and account remain available. Complete-test packages, evaluation credits, and other consumable services are separate products and provide only the quantity displayed before purchase.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address to sign up. You can permanently delete your account and its active data at any time from your account page, subject to the limited payment, fraud-prevention, moderation, legal, and backup records described in the Privacy Policy. This action is immediate and cannot be reversed, and any remaining unused tokens are forfeited when you do.
Tokens are a virtual credit used to unlock optional paid services, including AI-assisted feedback and generated study material. Tokens have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash. Unused tokens do not expire unless your account is closed or terminated. Points, quests, badges, and rewards are promotional platform features. Their values, requirements, availability, and redemption options may be adjusted as the service develops.
Token purchases are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details. If a purchase was made by mistake, you may contact us to request a refund. We will review the request and, when approved, return the payment through the original payment method. A token package is not eligible for a voluntary refund after any tokens from that purchase have been used. This policy does not limit any refund or consumer right required by applicable law.
AI-generated feedback is provided as a study aid and should not be treated as an official or guaranteed exam score. Expert feedback, where offered, reflects the professional opinion of the reviewing teacher and is also intended for study purposes, not as an official score.
Automated evaluations may use task-specific instructions, rubrics, and reference examples configured by English Rhino. Outputs can vary, can contain mistakes, and may be generated using different models or providers as the service evolves. Tokens purchase one evaluation attempt, not a guaranteed score or a particular model.
Study Assistant chats and Speaking Partner transcripts are saved for learner history and may be reviewed by authorized English Rhino administrators for quality assurance, safety, abuse prevention, support, cost monitoring, and service improvement. They are not public conversations, but they should not be treated as confidential communications with a teacher, lawyer, doctor, or other professional. Realtime transcription can mishear speech, background noise, names, or languages.
Reward points may unlock timed simulations and reusable practice material. Simulated scorecards are unofficial estimates and are not issued or endorsed by a test owner. Reward-point costs are shown before an activity starts.
We don't guarantee any specific exam score or outcome from using this platform. Your results depend on your own effort, practice, and many factors outside our control.
When you choose to type, upload, or record a response, you direct English Rhino to store and process that content to provide the requested practice, archive, playback, transcription, feedback, support, security, and deletion functions. You keep ownership of your content and grant English Rhino only the limited permission needed to operate those services. You must have the right to submit the content and should not record another person without their permission.
Do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, illegal, or identifying information that is unnecessary for language practice. Microphone permission is controlled by your browser. Recording begins only after you activate an individual recording control or deliberately start a hands-free Complete Interview session; that session clearly sequences playback, preparation, recording, saving, and advancement.
Custom profile images are resized and compressed before upload. English Rhino may preserve every uploaded compact avatar version, including replaced images and images no longer shown on an account, in a protected moderation archive. This helps investigate rule-breaking, impersonation, abuse, and attempts to upload prohibited material after the visible image is changed or removed.
Don't attempt to abuse, exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform, including attempting to manipulate token balances or scores outside the normal use of the app.
Do not upload illegal, abusive, hateful, sexual, exploitative, infringing, deceptive, or impersonating profile images. Changing or removing an avatar does not erase the protected moderation copy or prevent enforcement based on a prior upload.
English Rhino is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ETS, the IELTS Partners, Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Pearson, Duolingo, the British Council, IDP Education, College Board, or any other exam owner. TOEFL, IELTS, OET, PTE, Versant, Duolingo English Test, Cambridge English, SAT, and other names and marks belong to their respective owners. We use these names only to identify the examinations for which students are preparing.
English Rhino uses original, licensed, public-domain, or otherwise lawfully usable educational content. Limited references to protected material may be made for teaching, commentary, scholarship, or similar purposes under applicable law, including fair use principles described in Section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act where applicable. Fair use depends on the particular facts and is not claimed as a blanket status for every use. Rights holders can use our Content Removal Request process.
Except for official, licensed, public-domain, third-party, or user-provided material whose rights remain with its respective owner, English Rhino owns its original questions, practice sets, explanations, platform copy, designs, and other original educational content. You may use that content for personal study but may not republish, sell, scrape, or build a competing question bank from it without written permission.
Selected illustrations are designed by Flaticon and its contributors. Illustration rights remain with their respective owners. A rights holder may request correction, attribution, or removal through the Content Removal Request process.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Information about account data, submissions, recordings, practice history, payments, local browser preferences, email choices, and service providers is available in our Privacy Policy. Agreeing to these Terms does not subscribe you to promotional email; marketing consent is a separate optional choice.
